An accordion strip door hangs 12 in PVC strips from trolleys in an overhead track. Move the curtain along the track and the strips fold together into a compact stack at the side of the opening; move it back and they spread out to close the doorway again.
Use it where an opening needs a barrier for temperature, dust or noise most of the time, but must clear completely for forklifts, wide loads or equipment. Because the strips fold into a short stack, it suits openings without enough wall space beside them for a sliding strip door.
The accordion kit uses 12 in strips at 67% or 100% overlap. Choose a wall, ceiling or threaded-rod mount for the track, depending on what is above your opening.

The height of your door opening is the primary consideration for choosing the right strip size (width x thickness). All applications are slightly different but these basic guidelines will help select the best size for your door opening.
Guidelines for PVC Strip Size
Door Openings 6” High or Less - Create a lightweight pedestrian strip door, easy to pass through.
Door Openings 8' to 10' High - Create a strip door that can be used easily by a pedestrian but durable enough to face motorized traffic.
Door Openings 10' to 14' High - Create a durable heavy-duty industrial strip door heavy enough to stop airflow in larger openings.
Door Openings 15' Feet High or More - Create the ultimate heavy-duty strip door kit to seal off the largest openings in industrial facilities.
